Pelifarmi 2021
Keväällä 2021 olin 6 kuukauden mittaisessa työharjoittelussa Oulun kaupungin Pelifarmi-toiminnassa. Suunnittelimme pienellä porukalla selaimessa pelattavia pelejä ja toteutimme projektit Pelifarmin aikana. Minä olin kaikissa projekteissa mukana graafisena suunnittelijana ja vastasin pelien visuaalisesta ilmeestä. Tuotin peleihin taustoja, animaatioita ja konseptitaidetta, jota olen koonnut tälle sivulle. Sivulla on nähtävillä myös valmiita pelejä, jotka on tehty Unityllä ja julkaistu pelattavaksi itch.io:ssa.
In English:
In spring 2021 I took a 6 month long internship as a graphic designer in Pelifarmi - a project provided by the city of Oulu where you can learn the process of making games. During Pelifarmi our small team designed and finished game projects playable in web browsers. As a graphic designer I was in charge of the games' visual styles. I produced backgrounds, animations and concept art which you can view below. On this page you can also find the finished games which were made in Unity and published in itch.io.
Lowe tells a story of a shaman trying to save their tribe from a deadly virus. Roam through the ancient forests deeper in the spirits realm through the mystical Lowe!

In Bouncy Blight you control a bouncy little radioactive slime. Hop left and right down the platforms as you collect radioactive bottles and avoid a mad scientist who is trying to destroy you with his flamethrower. But worry not, you can protect from the fire by deep freezing yourself. When in danger, just hit the space bar to freeze. And keep an eye on your freeze meter as well as your radioactivity. Collect enough points and you'll be able to buy new freeze form from the shop. Can you get them all?
